Billy Edwards
Billy is a student from Essex who, when he’s not studying at school, he plays records incessantly at home. His world changed when he found out about David Bowie aged twelve: a fervent obsession with finding good music soon began. He can be found rooting around record shops and fairs in sunny Southend and beyond, whilst his parents wait impatiently outside. He’s keen to explore any and all forms of music, but especially rock, soul, and classic pop. With a deep interest in sharing the stories behind pop music too, and the stories of how he came across them, his show, Teenage Wildlife, features the songs he finds as he digs and some cherished favourites. Looking through a fresh pair of eyes, it’s a passionate celebration of the excitement of musical discovery, appealing to the collector gene in us all.
